Our training features
Exchange of knowledge and expertise
The exchange of knowledge and expertise between the NFI and its partners in the criminal justice system is one of the NFI’s core tasks. This sharing of knowledge and expertise with partners is referred to as professional development.
Only for professionals in the criminal justice system
Training and other activities of the NFI are only available for professionals involved in law enforcement, crime detection and prosecution. Students and other people who are interested can contact forensic universities for developing forensic knowledge and expertise.
Professionals outside the criminal justice system
Trainings, courses, and other activities are organised as part of knowledge exchange for other professionals who can contribute to the detection of criminal offenses or to the gathering of evidence.
Co-creation with partners
Where possible, the development and implementation of professional development is carried out in co-creation with partners in the criminal justice chain. This helps to increase efficiency throughout the chain, from the crime scene to the courtroom.
Collaboration with universities
The NFI collaborates with various universities and universities of applied sciences. At several of these institutions, NFI staff members are involved as professors, lecturers, or guest instructors.
Tailor-made solutions
Apart from these courses, the NFI also develops tailor-made courses upon request. An existing course may be adjusted to fit your wishes and requirements, but it is also possible to create a new training or course. For more information, please complete our contact form.
